The Old Ore Terminal in the distance! What a great view!
At this point during our first hike, I just stood there, in awe.
I went back to my wife and told her about it. We made the decision
to turn back, rather than press on because of the pain she was
in. This image haunted my imagination for five years.
Little did I know that from this first view of the Ore Terminal,
it's a half hour walk! The walk on the flats to the Old Ore Terminal
is easy, which is good, but we were pretty tired by this time. |
